la veille de Noël

i thought i was ready for christmas.
i have a tree with some presents.
i have some lights.
i made christmas pie.
i wore christmas socks and a christmas-y scrub top to work today.
but when i stepped outside and saw all the rain rain rain
and all the snow gone gone gone,
it made me realize that i'm not ready.

i want snow too.

i think with snow falling outside, i would be ok inside with my pie and mini tree,
with my guitar and me.

No snow in Chetwynd. According to me this is blaspheme. The most blasphemous Christmas ever.

Merry Christmas!

What is Christmas with no snow? The song is not, nor shall it ever be, let it rain. let it rain, let it rain

We need to go to Vermont. But first we will have to put on a show, then it will snow. And we'll drink buttermilk and eat sandwiches. I'll pass on the liverwurst, because I don't want to dream about liverwurst.

Dear QP,

i have heard great things about the Vermont Smorgasbord.
i have also had a close encounter with death and written a little something. Maybe you could have a look at it sometime? Maybe you could do it for a friend in the army? I'll take those 45 minutes all to myself.
What kind of sandwich is it for someone a little on the scatback side but sexy?
