what music did you listen to on your drives?

now this is a good question. it is specific and answerable.
i listened to: The Shins, The Arcade Fire, The Waifs, Powderfinger, Po' Girl, The Be Good Tanyas, The Uncas, Jem, Erin McKeown, Nick Drake, Tegan & Sara, Damien Rice, Sufjan Stevens, Burt Nielsen Band, Tarkan, Spiderbait, Smashing Pumpkins, Rufus Wainwright, Sloan,Michael Franti, Tom Petty, Coldplay, Bedouin Soundclash, Sarah Harmer, Joseph Arthur, Sarah Slean, Gomez, Beastie Boys, Kia Kidiri, Hawksley Workman, The Doors, & Radiohead.
More or less.
And when i got tired of those, i listened to these things: the rustling of the plastic food bags, the crunching of potato chips, the different sounds of the car on the road (the rumbling of dry pavement, the slooshing of wet pavement, the gritty sound of sanded roads, the dampened crunch of snow packing under my tires), the sounds of cars passing me and passing me and passing me, and the squeak of wiper blades needing to be replaced.
